In the magical land of Magistrar, the best magicians meet in the most prestigious arena. As two of these magicians, the players compete in five duels. Points are awarded for each duel won – as well as for collecting as many tiles of an energy type as possible. In the game, magicians have to choose one out of three spells. Each spell can only be chosen once per duel. Thus, players need to manage their spells (resources) well.
Each game round is different, as the energy in the arena is randomly composed and always presents the players with new challenges!
Magistrar is also suitable for families. Three enclosed game variants including the expansion “Duel Cards” as well as extensive game material ensure that the mage battle never gets boring.

Super einfach zu verstehen, und auch in mehreren Varianten spielbar. Ein bisschen Glück muss man manchmal auch haben. Das macht es aber ideal für ein gemeinsames Spiel mit oder für Kinder.

Magistrar hat ein Spielkonzept, das ich so noch nicht kannte und lässt sich nur zu zweit spielen. Die Verschiedenen Helden machen das Spiel abwechslungsreich und geben dem Spieler die Möglichkeit verschiedene Taktiken auszuspielen!

Sehr schönes 2-Personen Spiel, bei dem man ein magisches Duell spielt. Leicht zu lernen, aber durch die (im Spiel enthaltene) zusätzlichen Varianten kann man die Komplexität leicht verändern. Das Artwork ist total schön und die Hintergrundgeschichte passt gut. Wir spielen es sehr gerne.
