Description

Playing Rifugio is a great hiking-adventure game which is all about three things:
1) First you connect a landscape-tile to the tiles already on the table.
2) Then you can use your wooden puppet with backpack to start walking. If you visit flowers, animals, waterfalls, passes, or mountaintops you’ll receive points. By the way: Bears you wanna avoid, they’re minus points.
3) And you can also build a Rifugio (Italian for mountainhut), or several Refugio (mountainhuts). If someone visits your hut, you also receive points. When the game ends (this is when all the tiles are connected) the one with the most points wins!
The game is ideal for hiking fans, as you are able to recreate an amazing hike though the Dolomites! Moreover, the game is ideal for all type op players, since the difficulty of the game lies not in its rules but the level of player you are facing – children can play against children, and experts against expert.

    Ein “Must” für jeden, der Wanderbegeistert ist! Durch die vielen Plättchen kann ich meine eigene Wanderung selber gestalten. Das ganze kann sehr strategisch werden, wenn man für sich selbst die beste Route erstellen möchte, seinen Gegnern aber nicht den Vortritt lassen will 😉

    A “must” for anyone who is a hiking enthusiast! Through the many tiles I can design my own hike itself. The whole thing can be very strategic, if you want to create the best route for yourself, but do not want to give way to his opponents 😉
